Refund policy

Forge Claw – Return & Refund Policy

At Forge Claw, we stand behind the quality of the equipment we sell. Because we distribute heavy machinery attachments that ship via freight and are manufactured by third-party partners, specific return, refund, and warranty conditions apply.

Please review this policy carefully before placing an order.


General Policy Overview

  • Forge Claw distributes products manufactured by third-party partners.

  • Manufacturer-specific return and warranty policies may apply and override Forge Claw’s standard policy.

  • All returns require prior authorization.

  • Orders ship quickly, often via freight, and cancellations are time-sensitive.


Standard Return Policy

Return Window

Most new, unused items may be returned within 10 calendar days of delivery, unless otherwise stated by the manufacturer.

Product Condition

Returned items must be:

  • New, unused, uninstalled, and unmounted

  • In original packaging

  • Include all manuals, hardware, accessories, and documentation

Once an item has been installed, mounted, modified, or used, it is no longer eligible for return.

Return Eligibility

Returns may be accepted for:

  • Defective products

  • Shipping damage (see inspection requirements below)

  • Non-defective items, including buyer’s remorse

All returns are subject to manufacturer approval.


Return Authorization Process (RMA Required)

All returns must be authorized before shipping anything back.

To request a return:

  1. Email sales@forgeclaw.com

  2. Include your order number, product name, and reason for return

  3. If applicable, include photos of the item and packaging

If approved:

  • You will receive a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA)

  • Return shipping instructions will be provided

Unauthorized or late returns will not be accepted.


Return Shipping & Fees

Return Shipping Costs

  • Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs, unless the return is due to verified damage or manufacturer defect.

  • Freight returns can be expensive; we strongly recommend confirming compatibility before ordering.

    Return shipments are made by dropping the item off at the designated carrier or freight location provided with your RMA instructions.

Restocking Fees

  • A restocking fee of 20% of the product price will apply.

  • Restocking fees are assessed by the manufacturer, not Forge Claw.

  • The applicable fee will be disclosed during the return authorization process.


Refused Deliveries (Freight Orders)

If a delivery is refused for reasons other than verified shipping damage:

  • The order will be treated as a return

  • Outbound shipping, return freight, and applicable restocking fees will be deducted from the refund

Refusing delivery does not guarantee a full refund.


Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items

Inspection Requirement

Customers must inspect all shipments immediately upon delivery.

Reporting Issues

If your item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect:

  • Contact sales@forgeclaw.com within 7 calendar days of delivery

  • Include photos of:

    • The item

    • Packaging

    • Shipping labels

    • Any visible damage

Failure to report issues within this timeframe may void eligibility for replacement or refund.

Cosmetic Damage Disclaimer

Minor cosmetic issues (such as paint scratches or scuffs that do not affect functionality) may not qualify for replacement or refund, subject to manufacturer policy.


Refund Processing

  • Once a return is received and inspected, you will be notified of approval or rejection within 3–5 business days

  • Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method

  • Refunds are processed within 10 business days after approval

  • Depending on your bank or financing provider, posting times may vary

Shipping charges, restocking fees, and return freight costs are non-refundable.


Exchanges

Forge Claw does not process direct exchanges.

To receive a different product:

  • Return the original item (if eligible)

  • Place a new order separately


Non-Returnable Items

The following items are not eligible for return:

  • Custom-made or special-order products

  • Used, installed, or mounted equipment

  • Clearance, sale, “Scratch and Dent,” or “Blemished” items

  • Hazardous materials or regulated products

  • Gift cards

Listings marked as “Scratch and Dent” or “Blemished” are sold as-is and are not eligible for return or warranty claims.


Manufacturer-Specific Policies

Stinger Attachments

  • Items must be new and unused

  • Returns must be requested within 10 days of delivery

  • Buyer is responsible for return shipping and restocking fees

Warranty Claims (Separate From Returns)

Warranties are handled separately from returns and cover manufacturing defects only.

Warranties do not cover:

  • Normal wear and tear

  • Improper use or installation

  • Damage caused after delivery

Warranty claim procedures vary by manufacturer.


Holiday & Extended Returns

During the holiday season (November 15 – January 5), Forge Claw may offer an extended return window on select products.

  • Eligible products will be clearly marked on the product page

  • All other orders follow the standard return policy


Order Cancellations

Orders may be canceled only before processing.

An order is considered processed once it has been:

  • Submitted to the manufacturer

  • Scheduled for freight pickup

  • Prepared for shipment

Because heavy equipment orders are often processed quickly, cancellations are not guaranteed.


Geographic Scope

Returns are accepted only for orders delivered within the United States.
